A Walk & Train session is a structured training walk carried out by a professional trainer while you’re unavailable. This is not a free-for-all walk. Your dog will work on engagement, neutrality, loose-lead skills, environmental confidence, and emotional regulation in real-world settings.

A standard dog walk focuses on exercise.
A Walk & Train focuses on behaviour, structure, fulfiment and progression.

Your dog is actively working during the session. Every exposure is intentional. Every interaction is guided. We are reinforcing skills that transfer into your daily life.

Walk & Train accelerates progress, but owner involvement is what maintains it. You will receive feedback, guidance, and sometimes homework so that what your dog learns transfers to you.

This is not a “send your dog away and hope it’s fixed” service.

Sessions take place in real-world environments such as:
• Parks and country spaces
• Public areas (where appropriate)
• Structured neutrality setups

Location is chosen based on your dog’s current level and goals.

This depends on your dog, but may include:

• Loose lead walking
• Recall foundations
• Engagement building
• Neutrality around dogs
• Structured play
• Settling in stimulating environments
• Confidence building
• Impulse control

Every session is tailored. No generic walking.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session.

Cancellations made within 48 hours may cause you to be removed from this service indefinetly.

All dogs must complete an initial consultation or assessment prior to booking Walk & Train sessions. This ensures suitability, safety, and clear goal setting.

ViridianK9s reserves the right to decline or pause services if a dog’s needs exceed the scope of this service.

Our Pick up & Drop off is exclusive depending on your post code.

Out of area Drop offs & Pick ups are welcome.
