PACK WALKS – FAQ
-
A structured group walk focused on neutrality, calm co-existence and engagement with the handler. Dogs walk together without forced interaction.
-
Mild reactivity may be suitable if owners are committed to structure and management. Highly reactive dogs may need 1-1 work first.
-
Not as a default. Neutrality is the goal.
-
Basic lead control and the ability to remain somewhat responsive in the presence of other dogs.
-
We create distance, reset and work through it calmly. If a dog is not coping, we may advise further private training before returning.
SOCIAL WALKS – FAQ
-
A structured community walk combining calm on-lead work with controlled off-lead periods where appropriate.
-
Yes, periodically and only when appropriate. Off-lead time is structured, supervised and based on recall reliability and temperament. It is not a free-for-all. Puppies may remain on long line where appropriate.
-
• Reliable recall
• Ability to disengage from other dogs when called
• No history of aggression
• Owner compliance with handler instructionsIf recall is not proven, your dog will remain on lead.
-
Dogs must be socially stable to attend. Mild reactivity may attend on lead only if manageable. Highly reactive dogs will be advised to complete 1-1 work first.
-
Play may occur naturally during off-lead periods, but it is monitored and interrupted if arousal becomes excessive. We prioritise healthy social behaviour, not chaos.

We never flood dogs. If stress levels rise, we step off, reset and work gradually. Safety and emotional stability come first.
