FOR DOG OWNERS THAT WANT MORE
DRIVE & THRIVE
CLUB
SEASONAL EXPERIENCES
Throughout the year, we intentionally step back from regular obedience classes and pack walks to integrate structured seasonal experiences. Training should not live in a field forever.
Your dog’s world is only as big as you make it, and if we never expand it, we limit their resilience, confidence and adaptability.
WHERE DO WE GO?
Seasonal experiences allow us to take the skills built in class and apply them where they truly matter:
Real environments.
Real distractions.
Real life.
From pumpkin picking in autumn fields, flower field walking in the height of summer, Christmas light walks during peak winter footfall, to structured training days at National Trust locations, our seasonal experiences are intentionally chosen to expand your dog’s world.
The Great Sniff Out
A fun scentwork experience designed to let dogs do what they do best, use their nose.
Real-World Searches
We take our searches to real-world locations such as B&Q, garden centres and other dog-friendly environments, turning everyday places into exciting scent challenges.
For Every Level
Whether you are completely new to scentwork or already more advanced, The Great Sniff Out is open to everyone.
Why Dogs Love It
The focus is not competition or pressure. It is about giving dogs the opportunity to search, think, problem solve and enjoy the process while owners get to watch them thrive.
Each session is relaxed, supportive and structured so every dog can take part at their own level. It is simply about having fun, building engagement and celebrating the incredible ability of a dog's nose.
A controlled outlet designed to channel your dog’s natural drive, build confidence and provide meaningful breed fulfilment.
Bitework
Bitework is not just for traditional working breeds. Dogs of all sizes and backgrounds can benefit from controlled grip work. Structured sessions allow dogs to express natural behaviours in a safe and constructive way, helping them build confidence, clarity and engagement with their handler. It’s also great to build toy drive!
Confidence Building For All Breeds
Many behavioural issues stem from unmet needs. Bitework provides a powerful outlet for dogs with drive, allowing them to work their mind and body while satisfying instinctive behaviours in a structured environment.
Whether your dog is large or small, high drive or simply curious, sessions are adapted to suit the individual dog and their stage of development.
Breed Fulfilment
Sessions are designed to be engaging, supportive and safe. Dogs work one at a time under guidance, ensuring every dog has the space and clarity they need to succeed.
We work closely with accredited decoys who understand canine behaviour, drive development and safe grip work. Sessions are carefully structured so dogs learn how to channel their energy in a productive and controlled way.
What To Expect
Paws & Lattes
A relaxed social training experience where dogs learn the valuable skill of settling calmly in real-world environments while owners enjoy a coffee.
Many dogs struggle to switch off in busy environments. Paws & Lattes focuses on teaching dogs how to settle, observe and relax in dog-friendly cafés, pubs and public spaces.
This helps build neutrality around people, dogs, movement and everyday distractions while reinforcing calm behaviour in a structured setting.
Real-world calm
Being able to relax in public is an important life skill for dogs. Rather than constant stimulation, dogs learn that sometimes the job is simply to lie down, observe the world and remain settled beside their handler.
These sessions help develop patience, impulse control and emotional regulation.
A skill every dog should learn
We meet at dog-friendly cafés or coffee spots where dogs practise settling calmly while their owners enjoy a drink. The focus is on neutrality, calm observation and reinforcing good decisions.
It is not about perfection. It is about creating positive experiences and helping dogs learn how to relax in the real world.
Supportive and structured
This event sometimes takes place after group activities.

How do I get involved?
Getting involved is simple.
Some sessions may require an initial consultation or previous training with ViridianK9s to ensure the environment is suitable for your dog and that all teams can train safely together. Others may be suitable to dive straight into. If you’re not known to ViridianK9s or haven’t taken part in any of the activities before, please fill in your details and we’ll get back to you.
